Well, we had a day that resembled spring the other day, so I took my new cowboy boots out walking. They are surprisingly comfortable, considering they have needle sharp toes. Probably because my toes aren't anywhere near the end of the boot! They do have lovely cream stitching on the carmel brown leather, so I'm quite pleased with them. Only £9 at a stall in our local antique market. I don't in a million years think they are antique, but they fit, and I'm a sucker for boots. What can I say? They followed me home.
This is my new red hair, which I'm still not sure is the real me. I'm getting used to it. No one has fainted yet, and Gorgeous Husband didn't even notice. However, to be fair, he is colour blind, so it's not all his fault.
I do like my H &M blazer as well, because it is almost impossible to look bad wearing it.

I love your new hair and you look radiant in this photo. I share your adoration of boots and I can see why these followed you home.
Wow!! Your new look is ravishing!! Just in time for some birthday cheer! So glad to see you looking so glam. Your husband, color blind or not, must be entranced.
Okay, a full body shot! You've got your mojo back!! I agree with Jean and the Style Crone - you look gorgeous. Nothing like awesome footwear to give us a kick - which would be painful in these fantastic boots! I love your groovy bag too.
Aw, gee, thanks girls! I am slowly returning to putting together half decent outfits, but I think I'm going to have to cheat tomorrow and wear a dress. (The easy solution!)
I love the bag too Melanie, especially as it was only £1. The darn thing keeps slipping off my shoulder though, and it's only the fact that it is so funky that keeps it from being banished.
Cheers, R
