Well, it's all go here in England for the Queen Diamond Jubilee. Or, at least it is if you look around at the amount of merchandise on sale that is plastered with the Union Jack. I don't what it is about the flag, but it seems to make almost any piece of tat look good. Or I think so, anyway.
Here are some utterly ridiculous sunglasses with louvered slats to protect your eyes. I think I look like an alien wearing them! They were only £1, but even at that price, I couldn't be seen in them.
Other "exciting" merchandise, also in Primark:
And, how this for modelling? Who is his agent??

We also go flag-crazy for the 4th of July here in the states.
I'm still looking for a tea towel with the Queen on it :D
Rosemary thank you for your lovely comments! After years of coloring my hair myself (much grey to cover), I started having it done in the salon,(including highlights), and I have been so happy with my decision to once again invest in myself. The highlights cheer me and give me hope in transitioning happily into the new age I am entering....I highly recommend it!
Again, thank you for visiting my blog and your lovely comments!
I wonder if they make reading glasses in that style? Ha! Canada is hosting Prince Charles and Camilla right now (or they left already?). All very proper - although I do bristle at being a colony or Commonwealth nation, especially when I can't work in my Motherland. PM Harper put the Royal back in the titles of our services. All very confusing. The hype there must be fun!
I love the craziness, I think it's a lovely show of feeling. I do agree that the sunnies are a no-go for the fashionable shopper such as yourself : >
You look like you're having fun-I love it!! Any holiday is great, as a break in routine. Enjoy it for me!
I think you look absolutely fabulous in the glasses, just for the fun of it! Isn't that what makes life fabulous?
